what's new
Gas prices putting a damper in your travel plans? Then look no further than your own backyard. Start your journey on or after May 10 by picking up an official 5 for Fun and Fitness game card for your chance to win an iPod or mountain bike. Stop by any M-NCPPC community or recreational facility in Prince George's County to get a card, and then visit 5 different facilities (a community center, a nature center, a cultural arts center, an historic site or museum, and a sports facility) before July 15. Prize winners' names will be drawn during the July 31 outdoor concert at Watkins Regional Park.
Youth ID cards are now available FREE to residents ages 6-17!
These cards allow youth FREE access to M-NCPPC's community centers throughout Prince George's County, and to many drop-in programs at the centers. With a FREE Youth ID card, teens ages 13-17 may enjoy Xtreme Teens Recreation Programs, and may use community center fitness/weight rooms for free. (Adult supervision is required in fitness/weight rooms for those ages 13-15.) Stop by any M-NCPPC community center to get your new, FREE, youth ID.
Register now for M-NCPPC Summer Day Camps. Our camps are structured, full-day and half-day camps for children and teens ages 3½-17. Explorers Camps feature arts & crafts, sports, swimming and field trips. Innovative specialty camps feature nature, visual and performing arts, computers, sports and more. Day camp sessions are usually two weeks long and operate Mondays through Fridays from 9 am-4:30 pm. Before and After Care options are available to help working parents with safe, childcare options. Find out more about Summer Day Camp registration, policies, camp locations, and more!
