The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is proud to sponsor the First Tee Golf Program of Prince George’s County. This national junior golf program’s mission is to positively impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf. The programs are targeted especially for those who have not previously had exposure to the game. A unique component of the program is the integration of life skills emphasizing the values of the game, with instruction and training about the sport. PGA professionals and volunteers from all walks of life serve as instructors and mentors to provide a positive golf experience. The program is divided into three levels of participation. Par Level is for new golfers and offers instruction and training that start children (ages 7-17) on their journeys into the golf world. Birdie Level provides progressive training sessions and affords children playing opportunities on the courses. Eagle Level promotes advanced instruction and tournament play for youth. Each level has an extensive evaluation process and graduation to the next level is carefully monitored to ensure each child’s enjoyment and progress. For more information, please contact staff at any of the golf courses.

Get your Frequent Fairways Card (begins spring 2009)
Joining the Frequent Fairways Club gives you major advantages at M-NCPPC golf courses throughout Prince George’s County. Enjoy discounts and e-mail specials, and accrue points for FREE play. Frequent Fairways Club members may reserve tee times at Enterprise Golf Course up to 10 days in advance, compared to 6 days in advance for the general public. The cost to purchase a Frequent Fairways Club Card is just $10. Choose one of three M-NCPPC county courses (Enterprise, Henson Creek or Paint Branch) as your “home" course, and purchase your card at that course. Simply bring your Frequent Fairways Club Card with you each time you play golf at your “home course" and have the card scanned. Your paid greens fees figure will be registered and recorded as points in your patron bank. You’ll instantly begin accruing points towards FREE play! (NOTE: Only greens fees are recorded for this program.) When your “free play" level at your home course is reached, that round of greens fees is on us! Free play opportunities are only good at the “home course" where the Frequent Fairways Club Card was purchased. Patrons may purchase additional cards for $5 each designating additional “home courses." This gives golfers even more opportunities to accrue points for free play!
