Welcome to the world of volunteering! The opportunities to volunteer with the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation are almost unlimited. You can choose from a one-day special event such as a community festival, to an on-going need such as nature center animal caregivers to our historic house docent program. Opportunities are available to work with all ages, from pre-school children to senior adults and your work schedule is flexible!

Whatever your reason, The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation has a number of volunteer opportunities for you to volunteer close to home. The success of many of our programs and events depends directly on the efforts of our volunteers.
