Jamie Downs’ art career spans more than 50 years, exploring themes of oneness and transcendence. Her recent series of non-objective works draws on floral archetypes, local birds, bees, and animals, interpreted through an abstract lens. Influenced by Color Field painting and Abstract Expressionism, her work blends luminous color and organic movement to create a deeply contemplative experience.
