About Us
The Prince George’s Trap and Skeet Center is a premier shotgun clay target shooting facility. Our facility is one of only 47 Gun Clubs in the U.S. that offer the Olympic Games of International Trap (also known as International Bunker) and International Skeet. Whether enjoyed as a personal hobby or competitive sport, clay target shooting can become an enjoyable lifetime activity.

Clay Target Shooting Games
Our outdoor shotgun range offers various clay target shooting games for beginners and advanced shooters.
First Shot Program
Safety is our #1 commitment.
First Shot is an excellent way to introduce first time shooters, and as a refresher for all shooters, to firearm safety in the shotgun shooting sports. The program provides participants with an introduction to shotgun safety and gun club etiquette by a qualified range officer for shotgun clay target shooting.
This 30-minute class is mandatory for those new to shotgun sports or who have little experience. Ages 18 & under are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Leagues & Tournaments
Leagues and tournaments are regularly held throughout the year and are offered leisurely and competitively for trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
Being in a league is a fun way to participate in the various games from experienced shooters to beginners. Sign up and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a league while improving your skills.
Our Tuesday Night Red Duck League runs twice a year, in the spring and fall. For additional information and registration, call 301-577-7178.

Youth Programs
Youth may take our First Shot Program (see details above). Ages 17 & under are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Fees (Effective June 1, 2023)
Patrons may purchase tickets for individual rounds of clay targets for shotgun games and boxes of approved shotgun shells or buy them discounted in bulk *if available. League shooters may purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
*Note: Due to current circumstances bulk materials may be limited and dependent on what we can purchase.

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Please call for other holiday hours.*

Competitive Shooting and Tournaments
Regularly scheduled tournaments are held during the year. Tournaments are sanctioned by and registered with the:
- Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA)
- National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA)
- National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA)
