January 8 Delayed Opening of Facilities and Programs Due to Snow

Riverdale, Md – Due to continued inclement weather affecting the region, the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation announces the delayed opening of all offices, facilities, and scheduled programs for January 8. The safety of our community members and staff is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.

Effective Wednesday, January 8, the following actions are being taken:

  • Offices and facilities, including community centers, will open at 10am.
  • Recreational programs, including classes, events, and sports leagues, will resume at 10am.

We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as needed.
