M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s County Announces Early Closure of All Facilities on February 11

Riverdale, Md – Due to forecasted inclement weather conditions, the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County, announces that all offices and facilities will close promptly at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Ensuring the safety of our community members and staff is our highest priority, and we urge everyone to take precautions and limit travel unless necessary during the storm.

Effective immediately, the following actions are being taken:

• All offices and facilities, including community centers, will close at 4:00 pm.
• All recreational programs, including classes, events, and sports leagues scheduled after 4:00 pm, will be canceled.
• Outdoor facilities, including playgrounds and sports fields, may be inaccessible.
