2022 LACROSSE 101 CLINICS
Did you know lacrosse is the official team sport of the state of Maryland? Register now for this fast-play game of teamwork and agility. Beginner and intermediate level players will learn the basics including stick skills (throwing, cradling, scooping, shooting) as well as offensive and defensive positioning. All you need is athletic wear and tennis shoes! We’ll provide a stick and other necessary equipment for the event.
Join us this fall for Lacrosse 101 at Glenn Dale Community Center! All participants must pre-register.

2022 Prince George’s Youth Lacrosse League
Prince George’s Youth Lacrosse League (PGYLL) is a recreational league for K-8th graders. The league provides players with the skills and training necessary to prepare them for higher-level play. The season started on Friday, April 8, and ends in mid-June when division champions will be crowned! Team placement and equipment available. Email countywidesports@pgparks.com for more information.

Girls Lacrosse
Stick-To-It Girls’ Lacrosse Program
This program provides an opportunity for girls of all skill levels to gain valuable knowledge and experience through lacrosse training. Participants will receive high-level instruction in small groups, master the fundamentals of scooping, throwing, and catching, as well as learn specific offensive and defensive techniques. Game-like situations are incorporated into sessions during friendly recreational scrimmages. Sticks and goggles are provided, however, players are encouraged to bring their equipment if they have it. Ages 6-14.

2022 PGYLL Girls Division Information
Interested in diving deeper into lacrosse? Join us for our inaugural season of the Prince George’s Youth Lacrosse League Girls Division! Participants will register individually to be placed into teams determined by age and skill level. All participants will be able to develop their skills and learn more about strategy by competing against each other in game-like scenarios including small-sided lacrosse.
