Let’s take a trip around the world! Celebrate cultures and people from across the globe by exploring a variety of traditions and how they are preserved. Each month will feature a different heritage community, children’s book, and applicable craft. In July, we’ll focus on Muslim American heritage. We will be reading Hana’s Hundreds of Hijabs by Razeena Omar Gutta with illustrations by Manal Mirza, and we’ll be making Islamic paper lanterns.
