Matthew Maybin is a resident of Fort Washington, Maryland, and a native of Washington, D.C. His exhibition, “My Folks and Flowers,” is a celebration of diversity, vibrancy, and the timeless beauty of humanity and nature. Each piece in this cohesive body of work showcases an overall community thriving in its unique story.

Maybin encourages viewers to connect deeply with his subjects and their symbolic flowers, in hopes of promoting internal contemplation. His use of bright colors and intricate details create a visual tapestry that exudes joy and reflection.
We invite art enthusiasts, community members, and the public to join us in debuting the creative talents of Matthew Maybin. The exhibition will be open to visitors during regular business hours at Harmony Hall Arts Center.
