Celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Surratt! Join us to read ‘Ohana Means Family by Ilima Loomis with illustrations by Kenard Pak, and make cherry blossom windsocks.

Come join us and the Prince George’s County Caribbean Council as we kickoff Caribbean American Heritage Month. Bring the whole family out for this decade-long, fan-favorite event. Headlined by Image Band and Flambe’, this year’s festival will feature food/craft vendors and newly added attractions like the Sankofa Mobile Museum, GetFit mobile, Skate mobile, table/lawn games, hula hoops, scooters, soccer activity, park police horse/motorcycle, and more! Bring your bike out early and join a guided ride of the Anacostia River Trail.
