Seniors

Seniors, get in shape while having fun with our Aquatics Program. Senior Aquatics Fitness Enthusiasts Program (S.A.F.E.) is designed for individuals 60 & better who want to maintain their current level of fitness or get in shape while having fun!

  • Classes held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings
  • Limited Drop-In availability based on registered class capacity

From tots learning the basics of rolling, balancing, and swinging, to elite athletes performing perfect 10s, Fairland has the space, equipment, and staff for all gymnastics enthusiasts.

Land Fitness Classes

Fairland’s large Group Exercise Studio features a suspended wood floor for Aerobics, Barre, Cardio Circuit Training, Pilates, Spin, Step, Strength Training, Yoga classes, and Zumba. Classes are designed to accommodate all levels of fitness and are taught by professional certified instructors. Classes are held 6 days a week. Classes are registered and Drop-In. Personal Training

Personal Training is one-on-one training led by our certified professional trainers with individuals of all fitness levels.  They assess patrons current fitness levels, set goals, and design workout routines tailored to the specific needs and objectives for the patron.

Applicants must be 15 years of age to work for M-NCPPC. All you need to get started is a great work attitude and a completed Aquatics Employment Application. Search online for the positions listed below for which you are qualified. Please note that not all positions are advertised year-round.

  • Assistant Pool Manager (Must be at least 18 years of age) – Earn up to $23.15 per hour
  • Lifeguard – Earn up to $20.26 per hour
  • Pool Manager (Must be at least 21 years of age) – Earn up to $25.47 per hour
  • Shallow Water Lifeguard (Glenn Dale Splash Park/summer only) – Earn up to $18.75 per hour
  • Swim Coach – Earn up to $26.00 per hour
  • Swim Lesson Aide – Earn up to $21.42 per hour
  • Swim Lesson Instructor – Earn up to $25.47 per hour
  • Water Fitness Instructor (salary will depend on certification and experience)
