M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County Reopens Prince George's Sports and Learning Competition Pool

The Competition Pool at Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex will reopen on Wednesday, February 14, at 6 am. M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County completed an assessment and necessary repairs to the pool’s heating system which impacted our ability to maintain the pool’s temperature above 70 degrees. Please note that during this time, the pool will operate under Winter hours found below:
Winter Operating Schedule through May, 2024
Monday: 6 am – 8 pm
Tuesday: 6 am – 12 pm, 4 pm – 8 pm
Wednesday: 6 am – 8 pm
Thursday: 6 am – 12 pm, 4 pm – 8 pm
Friday: 6 am – 8 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday: 12 pm – 5 pm
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding. Our priority continues to be the safety and overall experience for our residents and visitors.
We want to remind our valued patrons that planning is underway to implement a long-term major capital improvement project for the competition pool at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex. As we move forward with the next stages of planning for this major project, the pool may be closed intermittently to address operational issues as they arise.
