Event Information

Step into the world of creativity and self-expression with Mud to Music’s Flute-Making Workshop, happening as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Led by expert instrument-maker and teaching artist Melissa Hyatt Foss, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to connect with the rich musical heritage of Central and South America. Through time-honored pottery-making techniques, participants will learn to craft their own working ocarinas, connecting with the plants, birds, and animals that inspire them most. No prior experience with clay, instruments, or music is necessary—just a sense of wonder and a willingness to explore. Join us as we come together to turn mud into music and celebrate the vibrant traditions of Hispanic culture. Sign up for one or both sessions!
