Dinosaur Park hosts free open house days every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month! Explore the grounds where dinosaur bones have been discovered! Learn about fossils and recent dinosaur bone findings.

Originally a painter, Montpelier Arts Center resident artist Chris Kirages also works in sculpture. In this exhibition, Kirages will display his affinity for ceramic work with new pottery from the wheel.

Artist Statement: Today, I Get To… is about the joy of the endless possibilities each session sitting with a lump of clay at the wheel brings, like each new day. The format for this sessions is a vase, and within that vessel is contained the ever-evolving universe of the potential. Today, I Get To… invites you along on the journey and the celebration at day’s end.

Want to write your first book but just don’t know how to begin? Authors Cardyn Brooks and Heather Brooks will lead participants in turning their book ideas into book manuscripts. They will lead you through the first steps of creating a manuscript for publication including tips about traditional and self-publishing pathways. Bring a notebook or laptop. Bring a packed lunch. Light snacks will be provided.

Explore a variety of STEM and aviation-themed sciences with a short lesson and hands-on activity. Ideal for learners ages 8-12. THIS MONTH: College Park is home to the oldest continuously operating airport in the world. With that record, we have a lot of aviation history to celebrate at our airport. Participants will learn about the many ‘firsts’ that happened right here at CPA and then get the chance to design and model their own airfields of the future. Registration is not required and drop-ins are welcome.
